Casa Hudson is committed to giving our guests a safe place to relax and unwind. We are strictly following the guidelines suggested by the American Hotel & Lodging Association’s Safe Stay Guidelines and is based on recommendations and requirements of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), U.S. Department of Health (DOH), and other federal agencies.


Social Distancing

Guests will be advised to practice physical distancing by standing at least six feet away from other groups of people not traveling with them. Physical layouts will be arranged to ensure appropriate distancing. Employees will practice physical distancing by standing at least six feet away from guests and other employees whenever possible.


Hand Sanitizer

Hand sanitizer dispensers, touchless whenever possible, will be placed at key guest and employee entrances and contact areas. Spray sanitizer are placed in every room for the guests to use during their stay.


Hand Washing

As per the CDC guidelines frequent handwashing with soap is vital to help combat the spread of virus. All employees have been instructed to wash their hands, or use sanitizer when a sink is not available, every 60 minutes (for 20-seconds) and after any of the following activities: using the restroom, sneezing, touching the face, blowing the nose, cleaning, sweeping, mopping, eating, drinking, entering and leaving public areas, going on break and before or after starting a shift.


FACE COVERINGS

Casa Hudson guests are required to wear face coverings while in public spaces when they cannot maintain physical distancing. A New York State mandate requires everyone to wear a face covering when outside their home if unable to maintain at least 6 feet of distance from others. Face coverings can include bandanas, scarves, or face masks. All employees are required to wear a face mask at all times.  


GUEST ARRIVALS

All guests will enter through the back door where they will receive a code prior to arrival. A hand sanitizer will be placed by the door for guests to use before touching the keypad. Visitors will be screened through an online questionnaire and asked to use hand sanitizer and to wear a face covering in public areas. Appropriate signage will also be prominently displayed outlining proper mask usage and current physical distancing practices in use throughout the villa.  Breakfast will not be served during this time. Coffee and tea will be available. Guests will be asked to drink beverages in their room or outdoors.


CLEANING AND SANITIZING GUEST ROOMS

 Casa Hudson has implemented cleaning and sanitization protocols which meet EPA guidelines and are approved for use and effective against viruses, bacteria and other airborne and bloodborne pathogens. The cleaning crew have been trained on progressive cleaning. and sanitization guidelines as recommended by the CDC. Rooms will remain vacant for a minimum of 36 hours between guests.


EMPLOYEE AND GUEST HEALTH CONCERNS

  Our employees have been given clear instructions on how to respond swiftly and report all presumed cases of COVID-19 on property. We will be ready to provide support to our guests. Employees are instructed to stay home if they do not feel well and are instructed to contact a manager if they notice a coworker or guest with a cough, shortness of breath, or other known symptoms of COVID-19. Employees and guests who are exhibiting any of the symptoms of COVID-19 while at the property are instructed to immediately notify the owner.
